We all have our checklists of things to bring on vacations far from home. When preparing for a trip to Costa Rica, those things usually include such objects as clothing for warm tropical weather, various travel guide books, sunscreen, etc. The following are three of the overlooked essentials for any trip to Costa Rica:
- A hat: Don’t forget to bring some sort of hat. It could be a baseball cap, a hat with a wide brim, or some other head gear. Whatever it is, bring it because it will protect your head from the intense rays of the tropical sun, help shade eyes from glare, and might also come in handy in the cooler elevations of high elevations.
- A mesh bag for wet clothes: Whether you plan on going for a swim at a beautiful tropical beach or hike through tropical forests, plan on getting wet because Costa Rica sees a lot of rain. While a fair degree of the Pacific slope lacks rain during the dry season, the Caribbean slope and mountains will be as wet as ever.
- Ziplock bags: These handiest of little plastic bags are excellent for keeping your important documents as well as mobile device and countless other items safe and dry.
